The Borgias, a new edgy fall line from Ann Taylor, sexy sculpting and Tamara Tunie’s personal cause!

SEE. Showtime is about to launch an unholy alliance. The Borgias, the network’s newest series, follows the rise of Rodrigo Borgia, who bought his way to the highest role in Rome 1492, that of Pope. And then broke every commandment to keep it. It always seems that people of centuries past had a much more ravenous sex life than we do, and there’s no shortage of it in this sultry series, though I’m a little scared: is Cesare Borgia going to get it on with his sister Lucrezia, because they are much too close. Sex. Greed. Betrayal. Jealousy. And swords? Don’t miss this sinfully good show! The Borgias premieres Sunday, April 3 at 9 p.m. on Showtime. (TV DivaGal)

SHOP. Now we know we just brought you Ann Taylor’s hottest spring looks, but the company’s head honchos are already thinking about ways to keep you warm next fall! That’s why the DivaGals were at Beauty & Essex in Manhattan’s Lower East Side to check out Ann Taylor’s new and edgy fall collections: City Chic, filled with color-blocked pieces in black, beige and red; Sporty Luxe, sleek separates complemented by animal print accessories; and Uptown Girl, channeling that Gossip Girl Upper East Side feel with silky beige trousers, soft structured jackets, sequined tops and pearl chain necklaces. There are plenty of vamped up accessories: the metallic chain necklaces and thick leather band bracelets with burnished gold clasps are way cool. Celebrity guest Maria Bello loved the Uptown Girl collection as well as the new girl tough pieces like lace-up platform booties and black motorcycle jackets. “It’s got this very cool utilitarian vibe,” she told the DivaGals. Hmmm, where have we heard that before? (Style Gals)

SUPPORT. Tamara Tunie is about to make a statement, but this bigger than just a story ripped from the headlines. On April 5, the Law & Order: SVU star will be in Washington D.C. to deliver a petition, signed by nearly 10,000 people, to ask Congress to hold hearings on child abuse and neglect deaths. It’s all in part for Child Abuse Prevention Month, to eradicate violence against children for good. To learn how you can become a part of the fight, visit everychildmatters.org. (Destination Divas)

STRETCH. While we love a workout that works up a good sweat, sometimes we just want to feel sinewy. That’s the goal of the new fitness DVD Rockin Models. Created by trainer Grace Lazenby, who’s worked with Courteney Cox, Sarah Silverman, Carrie Underwood, the former dancer and model blends elements of yoga, pilates and yes, a little burlesque, into a 65 minute program designed to lengthen your muscles into a long and lean physique. In the yoga sequences, expect to do a lot downward dogs and plank push-ups. The burlesque sections with a series of never-ending squats will burn out your quads while the floor exercises will flat flatten out your tummy and sculpt your arms. You will need a few props for this workout, including a yoga mat, pole (a broomstick with the sweeper removed will do), a lightweight fitness ball, towel and a top hat, if you dare. If you’ve never done yoga before, you’ll want to watch the program a few times before you give it a shot since Grace goes right into the moves without a lot of explanation. This workout won’t necessarily leave you winded, but it sexy, sultry moves will take your breath away (and more importantly, his!). Get Grace Lazenby’s Rockin Models Workout at www.rockinmodels.com.
