SEE. Remember the tale of Beauty and the Beast? Beastly is a new spin on the classic. I Am Number Four‘s Alex Pettyfer ΓÇô the hottest new teen star on the planet ΓÇô plays Kyle, a beautiful on the outside, but ugly on the inside teen, who believes pretty people have it better. He’s so deluded that he crosses a witch (played by Mary-Kate Olsen), which is never a good idea, and she places a spell on him that makes him hideous to look at. Kyle is banished to a tower where his only contact is with the servants (thought they’re not exactly talking teapots), plagued with the notion that he has a year to find a girl who can see beyond his scars and love him anyway. Enter sweet fellow teen Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens), and the pursuit of romance beginsΓǪ It’s pretty certain every girl under the age or 18 will melt over the things Kyle does to try to try to get Lindy to look past his looks and love his heart, though I have to admit, after seeing Alex’s transition, I thought, “I could still work with that!” The movie opens nationwide today.

TASTE. Now this just might be the coolest thing ever. Aliz├⌐, the liqueur that infuses premium French Vodka with luscious, all natural flavors, has created a drink just for us! It’s called The DivaGal, and it’s oh-so-easy to make at home. HereΓÇÖs what you need:

• 3 oz Alizé Red Passion (a mix of exotic fruit, cranberries and vodka)
ΓÇó 3 oz Champagne
ΓÇó Sliced Strawberry

Serve chilled in a champagne glass and garnish with a strawberry.

We’d love to know what you think of The DivaGal, so mix up your own diva-licious batch and write your thoughts below. We’ll pick a few lucky NYC commenters to toast our concoction at a secret venue soon!

VISIT. Finding a hip venue in New York City that isn’t overrun with everyone else can be a challenge. You have to get off the club central strip. That’s why The DivaGals are so glad we found HASH, nestled on a side street in Midtown Manhattan. While you can score a good meal on the first floor, it’s the lounge upstairs that’s the real find. The first thing The DivaGals noticed when we were invited there for a private party was the black and white 1950s style throughout the space. Then there were the cocktails, garnished with gummy bears, and the hookahs on every table. Of course, the place is called HASH; yes, they do serve hash brownies, and no, they are not giving you the recipe! And if your mortal enemy happens to be at HASH the same night, no worries. The lounge is divided into two separate sections that are joined only at the entrance, so you can definitely pick your side. Find HASH at 47 West 55th Street in New York City.

EXPERIENCE. For all you NYC Divas who want to recapture your youthful love for peanut butter, check out this “nutty” little spot in little Italy: The Nutropolitan Museum of Art, sponsored by Peanut Butter & Co. and the National Peanut Board. Luxe Gal loved the iconic lunch boxes and peanut-themed knickknacks that were on display at the opening party Thursday night, and fell in love with Peanut Butter & Co.’s White Chocolate Wonderful PB! We guarantee that this place won’t stick to the roof of your mouth, but will find a sweet nostalgic place in your heart. Check out the history of peanut butter and purchase a few jars of yummy goodness to take home at The Nutropolitan Museum at 201 Mulberry St., only through this Sunday.
