GAL APPROVED Weekend Edition: Getting In Shape 2012: Snacks & Skin!

DRINK. If you’re following our Getting In Shape 2012 coverage this month, you know we’re making you work it out, hard. Your body is going to need a little something extra to get you through. That’s why we’re turning to Muscle Milk Light (pictured above). It has┬á 20 grams of protein per serving (remember, you’ve got to get in 38 percent of your body weight) for only 160 calories. It’s sugar, lactose and gluten free, and it’s great on the go! Plus it comes in chocolate, so it kind of feels like a decadent treat.

BITE. After a hard gym class, I’m usually ravenous. Like scarf down a double cheeseburger hungry. Kind of defeats the purpose. That’s why I was so glad to discover Nimble by Balance Bar.
