GAL APPROVED Weekend Edition: Moneyball, Chelsea Modern And Hello Kitty!

SEE. It’s A Style Your Guy point of view from a real-life guy! Moneyball is a movie based on the book written by Michael Lewis about the 2002 Oakland Athletics Major League Baseball team. Brad Pitt plays a believable, neurotic Billy Beane, a washed-up baseball player that was drafted highly but never amounted to much on the field, turned General Manager of the A’s. The movie chronicles their standout season using statistical analyses despite working with one of the lowest payrolls in MLB. Beane’s personal demons are exorcised as he makes tough decisions throughout the season and the struggles that ensued. The highlights have never been as sweet, and the defeats more agonizing, as they fight the lop-sided system. Pitt and Jonah Hill, who plays the team’s statistician, have an unexpected chemistry while Phillip Seymour Hoffman takes an adversarial role as the team’s manager/coach trying to buck the new system. PURR. Here’s something that’s the cat’s meow! Forever 21, one of my favorite stores, has partnered with with the iconic brand Hello Kitty for a limited collection of clothing and accessories. There are sweaters and socks; bags and umbrellas; and a whole lot of other things sealed with a bow (yes, pun intended!).
