SEE. Having a boyfriend who’s obsessed with Breaking Bad, I decided to surprise him with an early sneak peek of this Sunday’s season premiere. Here’s what you need to know: Crystal meth making-duo Walt and Jesse are in some serious trouble with their not-so-friendly drug lord boss as they deal with the consequences of taking out a fellow meth cook. All I’m gonna say is that the fallout does get bloody. Meanwhile, Walt’s drug enforcing brother-in-law of a cop, Hank, is battling his own demons as he readjusts to life after being shot. I don’t know where his wife is conjuring up her patience to nurse him back to health, but Hank better figure out how to be grateful quick, or his better half may bail. It’s pretty easy to get hooked (yes, pun intended) on this dark series, even if you haven’t watched the first three seasons, though you may find yourself jonesing to see those too. If your boyfriend is anything like mine, he’ll be more than happy to watch them over again. Now that’s quality couple time! Breaking Bad, season 4, premieres Sunday, July 17 at 10 p.m. on AMC.
