STEAL. Loved Viola Davis‘ makeup at the SAG Awards? We did! Here are some celebrity makeup how-to tips using MAC makeup, courtesy Stacey Ellis of Byu-Ti Salon in Los Angeles, so you can recreate the winning look for yourself!
Face: Create a creamy complexion using Mineralize Foundation on a sponge and spread it evenly over the face. Make your skin glow with Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle placed on a large powder brush and dust it over forehead, nose, chin and top of cheek. Apply powder blush in Fever. Start from the cheek and dust back toward the ear.
Eyes: Recreate Viola’s warm and glowing peepers with the eye shadow colors Gorgeous Gold and Sparkle, Neely Sparkle! First put Gorgeous Gold from the inside corner of the eye and blend across to the middle. Apply the richer color, Sparkle, Neely Sparkle! from the outer corner across the crease to blend with the gold. Create a bold line around the entire eye using black Technakohl Liner; apply heavier under the eye and smudge the line a little with a Q-tip. Plump up the lashes with two coats of Pro Lash Mascara.
Lips: Copy Viola’s shiny, natural lip effect using MAC’s tinted Lipglass color C-Thru.
