GIVE. He may have broken up with Carrie on a post-it, but Ron Livingston is all in when it comes to taking care of his 7-month-old daughter Gracie James, he’s giving it 110 percent. He told us exclusively at the Somaly Mam Life is Love Gala that his newest hobby is “running up and down the stairs with a pacifier,” and “of course” he’s changing diapers. Not hard to imagine from a man who has personally gotten involved to stop child sex trafficking. “I did a movie that was set in the sex trafficking world, and I found it kind of life-changing,” he shared at the gala. “I went to Somalia, and it really excited to be a part of the work.” Ron appreciates how the work is changing lives. “The amazing thing is that the first generation coming up through the centers are in leadership positions in the organization ΓÇô they are a voice for change and are among the survivors that do community education and grassroots organizing. They are really the generation of young woman who are part of the solution. Learn more about the Somaly Mam Foundation at somaly.org/somaly-mam.
WEAR. Whenever we see a pair of “blinged out” jeans I immediately think of Flo RidaΓÇÖs jam, ΓÇ£Apple Bottom Jeans.ΓÇ¥ While we didnΓÇÖt shake a tail-feather at the New York City launch party of Rose Royce, we did get a chance to meet with its director of marketing Mark James, who shared that the line has created more streamlined demin offerings for the Big Apple market. Rose Royce’s new motto? ΓÇ£Bling isnΓÇÖt deadΓǪ itΓÇÖs just being reprised through different textures, prints and colors.ΓÇ¥ The price point isnΓÇÖt too shabby; for about $68-$75 retail for a pair of jeans, youΓÇÖre not killing your wallet to wear a killer look. Check out their website to see where you can ΓÇ£apple-bottomΓÇ¥ yourself with a pair of Rose Royce.

PAINT. Free manicure? Social Gal is so there. At Q & A Nail Lacquer Launch Party for the vegan nail polish, I got a chance to chat it up with recording artist Bridget Kelly while noshing on some delicious appetizers and sipping some champagne. Bridget, a tall and striking looking woman, stood out immediately She is currently releasing her new LP. The native New Yorker started singing during high school, and then signed on to Jay-ZΓÇÖs record label and went on tour with him for ΓÇ£Empire State of Mind.ΓÇ¥ Not only is Q &A a vegan company, they support breast cancer. It was a girl empowerment night all the way!

SMOOTH. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is a luminizing, oil-free formula that makes your foundation go on gloriously. Imperfections are smoothed over and blurred out, and complexions are left flawless. You are ready for your close up!
