STYLE. Thinking about a new wavy ‘do? Do it like birthday gal Rihanna, who turned 24 on Feb. 20. Celebrity hairstylist Sura Radcliffe of Byu-Ti Salon in Los Angeles tells us how to get it! ΓÇ£What I love about her haircut is that her curls are cut in a way that allows them to fall cascading down as they should, rather than having that A-frame effect,” she shares. In order to get your curls to behave this way you have to become comfortable with layers as the top ones will be short — not too short, Sura stresses — but your layers need to be able to enhance your natural texture. Her secret weapon to keep curls in control? “Use Pureology Illuminating Curl” she says.

STRAIGHTEN. TV DivaGal loves wearing wet and wavy braided extensions. What she doesn’t love is trying to get them back to straight. Until now. Scoring a T3 SinglePass Compact inside star stylist Robert Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory Fashion Week retreat, my first thought was to pass it on to someone with relaxed hair. But I couldn’t resist trying it, and was pleasantly surprised to learn it delivers big. The tiny flat iron’s high temperature (410┬░ F) was just the right amount to smooth out pesky waves with just a few strokes (this is on HUMAN HAIR extensions, FYI!). I pulled off a straight look I hadn’t seen since my braids were brand new in record time! Available for $79 at

SEAFOOD. Okay, we took a little liberty with that tag line. But we know you want to know more about The Claw Restaurant, a new fast-food joint that serves lobster rolls in New York City’s Chelsea section. What can you score there? Alex can tell you… check it out below!
