By DIVAGALS | January 10, 2014 | Entertainment, Gal Approved
WATCH. TV DivaGal loves a science-y soap opera. Syfy’s latest drama Helix follows a group of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who protect the world from the most deadly viruses. And yes, they are searching for the source of a mysterious strain that’s changing humans into, well, something not good at a remote lab in the artic. But wouldn’t you know it, the top dogs in the field just happen to be brothers who let one beautiful ex-wife get between them who just happens to be one of the scientists on site as well. Makes for one hell of a family reunion! Helix premieres Friday, Jan. 10 at 10 p.m. on Syfy.

WATCH TOO. Entertainment Gal hit The Mind of A Man premiere party Tuesday night ΓÇô the new GSN game show has female contestants compete to guess what’s going on in the noggins of the opposite sex! Here’s what was going on in her mind: Had a great time with the series’ host DeRay Davis. Spotted John Singleton and Tatyana Ali, who came out to show their support, sweet! First time at the Soho House in West Hollywood (hopefully not the last), with its awesome view, great food and excellent wine! Make a mental note to catch The Mind of a Man on Wednesdays, 8 p.m. on GSN.

WASH. TV DivaGal admits it, after a full night of TV viewing, washing my face seems like such a hassle. Enter Philosophy’s Purity Wipes. These one-step facial cleansing cloths take off everything: makeup, dirt and oil. Always a good thing after watching maggots crawl over dead bodies (thank you, Helix!).
