Time to go back to the glorious, frenzied and kinetic days of Hollywood’s golden years. Set in 1920s Los Angeles, Babylon intertwines the lives of several of its fame-seeking inhabitants, including Jovan Adepo as a gifted trumpet player in a band, Li Jun Li as an Anna May Wong-inspired singer and Diego Calva (featured above) as an errand boy who has bigger dreams in Hollywood and ties most of the stories together. It’s a tale of mass indulgence and excess, but if you’ve got three-plus hours to spare, why not indulge yourself?
