In theaters today, Top Five is your classic Chris Rock bawdy, fall-out-your- chair funny, unpolitical correctness with enough F-bombs for everyone to enjoy! Written, directed by and starring Chris Rock, the film is loosely based on the stand-up comic as he takes us through a day in the life of a high profile comedian turned actor. Set on the big day of his Hollywood movie premiere, Allen (played by Rock) is looking to switch roles in his long-time career from a smart aleck joker to historic hero. He wants the industry to take him seriously but when he reluctantly agrees to do an interview with journalist Chelsea Brown (played by Rosario Dawson), Allen is forced to face his past and get back to what he does bestΓÇªmaking people laugh! With endless surprise cameos and a star-studded cast, only Chris Rock can dig in the back of the crates to pull out a complete showpiece, all your favorite celebs under one roof and probably your top five too! The hip hop soundtrack is equally thirst quenching, with a play list from rap pioneers like Public Enemy and Salt-N-Pepa, to new school legends like, Kanye and Jay-Z!
