Getting Back To “You” In All Its Diverse Glory! Season 4, Part One Is Now On Netflix!

Aidan Cheng as Simon Soo on YOU

If you’ve desperately been waiting for Season 4 of You, it’s finally here.

One thing that we’ve learned after watching three seasons of You faithfully is that wherever Joe goes, murder seems to follow. Now he’s taken his special set of skills across the pond as he searches for Marienne, first in Paris and then in London.

This has led Joe to a new name and a new career, and it seems like he’s about to get on the straight and narrow, but that’s just not a path that Joe can soundly walk. It’s not long before someone winds up dead and Joe is again at the center of blood and carnage, only this time he’s got to figure out who’s behind these killings. Like seasons past there are so many layers that we’re not even going to get into it all; we’ll say is watch closely.

We do want to applaud You for its ever-expanding diverse casting. This season includes Ozioma Whenu as Blessing Bosede, a tech entrepreneur/Nigerian princess; Aidan Chen as Simon Soo, a snobby artist, and his sister, Sophie, played by Niccy Lin, plus many others. Of course, we don’t want to see the entire BIPOC population annihilated, but if it’s in Joe’s hands, we can put our fears aside long enough to know it will be one helluva ride.

You, Season 4, Part One, now streaming on Netflix.
