We already know that Fox’s musically uplifting, feel-good series Glee has got the most incredible roster of guest stars coming up, from Pushing Daisies alum Kristin Chenoweth to Broadway Tony winner John Lloyd Young.

Here’s another name that could be added to the list very soon: American Idol finalist Adam Lambert.

“We met him and he seemed to be up for it,” Glee star Kevin McHale, who plays Artie Abrams, the club’s wheelchair-bound guitarist, spills to the TV DivaGal.

“I don’t know how it would work, maybe he could be from a rival high school or something,” Kevin continues. “That would be awesome.”

Adam leading a rival high school show choir in a rousing rendition of Led Zeppelin‘s “Whole Lotta Love?” Now that would be pretty incredible.

Adam’s vocals will soon be heard on the soundtrack for the movie 2012, out Nov. 13.

Catch the Glee premiere Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
