GOLDEN GLOBES – Inside the Access Hollywood Gift Lounge – A Personal Account!By Delaina Dixon | January 17, 2011 | Entertainment
That why DivaGals were front and center at Access Hollywood’s 5th Annual “Stuff You Must” Lounge, featuring all the things you need to get your GG weekend started off right.
Our L.A. correspondent Consuela made her way to the Grand Ballroom inside the Sofitel LA hotel to check out all the goodies, and the day didn’t disappoint. Upon her arrival, she spotted Kimberly Elise!
“The suite had lunch and it looked like Kimberly had a sweet tooth, but
preferred Diet Pepsi as a drink of choice,” Consuela reveals, adding that Kimberly was also a big fan of Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan shakes — one of the lounge’s sponsors.┬á “She opted to drink that as she moved throughout the suite,” Consuela shares. Now we know how the For Colored Girls star keeps that gorgeous figure! We hear that Jennifer Love Hewitt, who looked stunning at the Globes last night, also sipped Diet Pepsi, for two days!, to get lean and mean for the awards.
Consuela had a fantasy movie moment when Lord of the Rings alum Dominic Monaghan and Sean Austin popped into the lounge. “Sean picked up an Imagine bracelet From the Michelle Flynn Designs jewelry collection,” Consuela spills. Figures!
Of course, all the pampering wasn’t just for the celebs. “Carla Kay, my personal manicurist, used Essie nail color Merino Cool on my nails, which just happened to be the most popular color of the day,” Consuela declares, “and she did an excellent job.”
Also on hand for the festivities was Glee‘s┬á Jane Lynch, who stopped by with her wife Lara Embry. Jane spent most of the day pampering her soulmate all afternoon with WONKA chocolates and Pretty Ballerina flats… all spouses, take note!
Of course, we’re most excited about the Vintage Revolution jeans that were available at the suite. Coming in a classic fit and a stunning palette of washes, these jeans aren’t just for celebs. You can pick up a pair of skinny low down jeans for $50 at Piperlime right this minute. How’s that for A-list service?
