Gossip Girl's Kelly Rutherford Actually Glad Not To Be in France

TV DivaGal would hate it if all the other Gals got to go abroad and she had to stay home. C’est tres mal!

But Gossip Girl‘s Kelly Rutherford, who plays Serena’s mom, Lily van der Woodsen, doesn’t seem to mind that the rest of the cast is currently frolicking in the streets of gay Paree!

“This is the first time I’ve ever been excited not to go to Paris,” Kelly spilled to TV DivaGal at Hayneedle.com‘s National Hammock Day (it’s today!) exhibit at NYC’s Midtown Loft and Terrace.

“It’s hard when you have two kids and you just want to be at home and do your work and be with them and do your thing,” she says, in reference to her kids, son Hermes, 4, and daughter Helena, 1.

Lily will get all the deets on the antics Serena and Blair got into while they were overseas anyway.

“At the beginning of the season, we’re really into what the kids are doing and everyone’s coming back from the summer and there’s lots of changes going on,” Kelly shared.

And if the girls won’t spill, GG will!
