We DivaGals are buzzing with the news that Harlem Shake, the beloved burger and shake haven, is celebrating Women’s History Month with a delicious dose of philanthropy. This March, they’re launching the “Sweet Lena” Milkshake, a creamy strawberry cheesecake dream, and it’s all for the amazing Figure Skating in Harlem—now chronicled in a docu-series on Disney+ called Harlem Ice!
This limited-edition 16-ounce milkshake, priced at $16, is a tribute to the legendary Lena Horne, whose groundbreaking career paved the way for Black women in Hollywood.
“We’re thrilled to honor Lena Horne’s legacy and support Figure Skating in Harlem’s incredible work,” say Harlem Shake co-owners Jelena Pasic and DarDra Coaxum. “The ‘Sweet Lena’ Milkshake is a delicious way to celebrate women who break barriers and empower the next generation.”
For every “Sweet Lena” Milkshake sold, $2 will be donated to Figure Skating in Harlem’s 2025 programming. But that’s not all, DivaGals! You can also add a donation of your choice when you dine-in or order delivery. Every penny counts towards helping these amazing young women build confidence, leadership, and academic success through the power of figure skating.
The “Sweet Lena” Milkshake, a strawberry cheesecake delight benefitting Figure Skating in Harlem, is available March 1 – March 31 at Harlem Shake Harlem (100 W 124 Street) and Harlem Shake Brooklyn (119 5th Avenue).
