Has Bravo Cancelled Mexican Dynasties? Sign The Petition To Save The Series – A DivaGals Exclusive!By Delaina Dixon | February 3, 2020 | Beauty
Has Bravo canceled its hit series Mexican Dynasties? DivaGalsDaily can exclusively report that the series, which was set to go into season two, has been put on hold “indefinitely,” according to sources.
Mexican Dynasties was groundbreaking television for American audiences, showcasing the more affluent side of Mexican culture. The reality series, which first aired on Bravo in February 2019, followed three families: the Allendes, the Bessudos and the Madrazos, following their personal and professional relationships that go back for decades, as well as their luxurious lifestyles. It was the first time that an American production for an American network was shot in a Latin American country that portrayed Latinos as something more than cleaning ladies or undocumented workers mafiosos or gangsters. Never before has the American public been given this access into the world of high society Latin America. The series was well-received by audiences hungry for more reality shows featuring a diverse cast.
A social media petition has been launched to save the show at change.org along with several hashtags (#MoreMexican Dynasties #BringbackMexicanDynasties #MexicanDynasties #inclusion #diversitymatters #latinpower #latinx) to promote its diverse nature. Sources also reveal to DivaGalsDaily that Bravo will launch a new reality show, Family Karma, focused around young Indian-American friends, next month.
Bravo is not officially commenting or sharing any information on the fate of the series.
