True Blood is thisclose to announcing it will return for season three.
But will its newest player, Daphne, be back as well?
“It’s worked out really well with my schedule,” says Ashley Jones, who spends her daylight hours on the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful.
“It’s hard to find that perfect project that works into your life, and when it happens, you don’t want to let it go.”
Being on the sexy HBO series means at one point or another, you’re gonna have to get naked.
That’s not so much of a concern for Ashley.
“I really didn’t do anything that I haven’t already done on the soap,” she says.
“But how it’s shot, the way it’s lit and its context, it just seems so much more provocative.”
Yeah, that would make me run to the gym, too.
“I definitely worked on the back end a little bit,” she confesses. “I’ve always loved running, so I stepped it up a bit with the lunges and did some pushups.
“I want to push myself to a new level of physical fitness. It helps with the stamina and helps you work through the night.”
Well, Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse) is a triathlete. Definitely wouldn’t mind having to work through the night with him!
As for Daphne’s blossoming relationship with Sam, “Her feelings for him are sincere,” Ashley says.
Well, they do have that whole shapeshifter thing in common, so that’s a plus, right?
“You’re going to learn a bit more about her. She’s not completely all that she seems,” Ashley teases.
“This Sunday, Daphne is going to lure Sam even more into her world.”
Sam, you may just have to stop dating your employees all together!
Catch Ashley on True Blood this Sunday, July 26 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
