Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding Star Keri Hilson Shares Her Own Family’s Holiday Traditions – WATCH!

Keri Hilson is back in the royal family, starring in Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding, the sequel to the 2021 film of the same name (sans wedding!), which is what this film is all about.

The singer has resumed her role as buttoned-up TV executive Jessica, who’s let her hair down, so to speak, after getting engaged to Jayson, played by Ne-Yo. And while these two have found love, their moms—played by Valarie Pettiford and real-life hip hop royalty MC Lyte—are still sparring. Let’s hope some I do’s bring these two families into harmony!

Hilson shared with the DivaGals the real-life holiday traditions she follows in her home state of Georgia. “My mother comes from a big family. She was one of six children. I’m one of five, our house was seven,” Hilson shares. There was a lot of good food, gift-wrapping traditions and a very special birthday on Christmas Eve. Watch below!
