Hot Shoes For Rainy Days! Cool Spaces For Resident & Here We Go Again – Diverse In The Background!By Delaina Dixon and Maureen Martin | July 20, 2018 | Gal Approved
WATCH. It’s been 10 years since Mamma Mia made its way on the big screen. Now its back, with a new twist on its familiar story. While the lead cast itself may not be diverse, this second prequel-esque film does make an effort to showcase some diversity in its ensemble – even when it goes back in time to the late seventies to show and young and jubilant version of Donna and the three men who shaped her life. The music is of course fun and light, the scenes are colorful and bright – and there’s CHER! What else could you ask for from a romantic musical comedy? Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, in theaters today.
WEAR. Who doesn’t love┬ágreat rain gear! Get your family booted up with this season’s cute and rugged rainboots from Washington Shoe!┬áWith colorful patterns and favorite characters, your kids can’t wait to find a puddle!
Of course, why should the kids have all the fun? We are especially loving the deceptively fashionable and super functional velvet rain booties for us!
READ. Resident magazine is in full force this summer, showcasing its latest covers in some incredibly┬ácool spaces. We joined cover boy and #WBWD Ryan Serhant, the real estate┬ámogul from Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing and Sell It Like Serhant, in a $17.5 million dollar townhouse in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. This seven-story townhouse offers floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, which includes seven bedrooms (each with its own bathroom!), an in-ground swimming pool and a quartet of outdoor spaces – including a rooftop. For┬ámore pictures of this gorgeous space visit us on Facebook. We also joined cover┬álady┬áphilanthropist┬áJean Shafiroff┬áat┬áGeorges Berg├⌐s Gallery, which showcases contemporary and provocative art favorited by director Spike Lee and other celebs.┬áWe enjoyed hors d’oeuvres provided by rustic Latin American restaurant La Pulperia and libations from Vivanco Winery.
