HOT SPOTS WEEK! Country Living’s “Room To Spare” Micro-Cottages in NYC!

Who says New York City doesn’t have great country style? Last week, the DivaGals got a little bit country with “Room To Spare,” Country Living magazine’s 2012 House of the Year project.

On display at New York City’s World Financial Center, right on the waterfront, the well-organized event allowed guests to socialize on the “Back Porch” of three micro-cottages built by by Affinity Building Systems and dressed ΓÇô divaliciously ΓÇô by Country Living editors and celebrity guests, including ever adorable chef Marcus Samuelsson of Red Rooster Harlem (another Hot Spot we love!).

Sipping cocktails as the sun went down, what we loved was the inspiration of color and texture plus incredible technology advances, like Whirlpool’s collection of state-of-the-art appliances that made a kitchen sparkle — and made us desperate to start cooking! It’s so nice to enjoy the outdoors in “style” with hot accessories, summer cocktails, light bites and sassy New Yorkers!
