How Duchess Meghan Spent Her Birthday This Year (And Some Ideas For The Next One!)By The DivaGals | August 5, 2019 | Food Fashion Style
Duchess Meghan celebrated her 38th birthday on Aug. 4. She received birthday wishes from her extended royal family and her adorable husband Prince Harry. But something was absent for the new mom: a mega birthday party!
Meghan spent the day celebrating with just family inside of her home at Frogmore Cottage; there was no Amal Clooney or Serena Williams at this celebration. A source tells the London tabloid The Sun, “The Clooney clan will be in Villa Oleandra on Lake Como and the Sussexes will not want to be seen enjoying more of their lavish hospitality after the PR disaster backlash post her U.S. baby shower.”
Hey now, just because Meghan already had an incredible baby shower doesn’t mean she should sacrifice on her birthday. Here are some suggestions the Duchess — and the rest of us — can try on our special day to make it count!
Eat Out. Eating out may be a luxury, but that shouldn’t stop you on your birthday! Why not arrange a date to eat at your fave restaurant as a birthday treat. Whether you decide to dine out with your loved ones or invite your family and friends for a huge meal, it can be a fantastic experience for everyone. Eating out is the perfect time to socialize and gorge: a recipe for good times and lots of fun memories.
Throw A Party. There’s never a better time to throw a party than for your birthday. This way everyone can get together, let their hair down and celebrate in style. It doesn’t have to be a big party either if that’s not your thing. If you decide on going all in, there’s plenty of options you can consider to make the occasion extra special. Why not check out this page to hire a band or get some caterers to provide the food, that way you don’t have to worry about cooking.
Pamper Yo’Self. Birthdays are a great time to relax and have a little pamper session. With lifestyles and stresses getting in the way of everyday life, it can be a nice change to just book yourself a spa day to relieve the pressures. There are lots of options for local spa days to let your hair down. Plus, you could also decide to get the girls together and go on a spa weekend and relax together in a beautiful location.
Book A Holiday. Holidays are the perfect treat and what better time to take one than for your birthday. It doesn’t have to be a week away in sunny climes, you could just opt for a staycation for the weekend to blow the cobwebs away. Holidays give you the chance to relax, plus they make birthdays a memorable time for both you and anyone you take along.
Treat No. One! If you’ve had your eye on that handbag for some time or a fancy pairs of shoes that would normally blow the budget, it could be the perfect time to treat yourself. Birthdays are all about presents, right? So why not give yourself one this year.
