Image Gal Samantha Bessudo Drucker shares how to celebrate a birthday in Colombia — which she did to usher in a new decade! Here’s how she did it at one of our favorite spots in Colombia at Hotel Las Islas!

The Place

If you’re going to celebrate a birthday in Colombia, there’s no better spot than Hotel Las Islas. First off, it’s located on Colombia’s stunning Caribbean coast in Baru. Guests stay in private bungalows at this lush tropical outdoor resort. There is private beach access where guests can swim, sunbathe, kayak and jet ski. Hotel Las Islas also has a full-service spa, exercise room and shopping, all on the premises. You can use your bungalow bike or chauffeured golf carts to get around the resort.

The Look
