How often have you heard the expression “in the wrong place at the wrong time?”
It’s very natural to be pessimistic and think that way. I want you to challenge yourself to be an inverse pessimist.
What is an inverse pessimist? Simply put, its a fancy way of saying an optimist. I want you to inverse every negative thought that you have.
Instead of thinking that you are always in the wrong place at the wrong time, why not believe that you are always in the right place at the right time. Assume that good things always happen to you. Take that negative thought and turn it upside down!
At the next raffle, instead of saying, “I never win anything,” think, “I always win things. I’m just lucky like that!”
When you eat a gallon of ice cream, don’t think, “I’m going to gain five pounds.” Think, “I’m probably going to lose five pounds because everything I eat I burn off. ”
Dismantle Murphy’s Law that “if something bad can happen, it probably will.” Instead, expect ONLY good things to happen to you all the time!
