TV DivaGal doesn’t watch a ton of procedural dramas, but I’ve always had a heart for CBS’ Cold Case.
It’s the show where a Philadelphia police unit solves crimes from the past. I love the way they recreate flashbacks to the time in question (often hiring a another crew of actors to play the younger versions of people involved in the case.) And it brings a tear to my eye that when the case is finally solved, the dearly departed often appear to give a silent nod of thanks to whomever solved their murder.
So I was feeling a little jittery hearing that Cold Case could be closing up shop this season. “I’m not sure that TV show is going to last much longer, no one is sure,” a source on set spilled to the TV DivaGal, adding that they hadn’t teared down the sets yet. “It might go another season,” the source theorized.
Looks like we’ll have to wait a few more days for this case to be solved. “We’ll find out on the 19th,” a CBS reps tells the TV DivaGal. That’s May 19, the day of the CBS Upfront. Let’s hope that Cold Case is up front and back for its eighth season!
