Is Mindy’s Next Great Love … Peter?

TV DivaGal has noticed some strange chemistry happening on The Mindy Project ΓÇô and I’m not talking about Morgan and Tamra (though we love them as a couple!).

I mean Mindy (played by series creator Mindy Kaling), and her horndog colleague Peter Prentiss. With the way he’s been helping her through her breakup with Danny, I’ve been wondering if this is Mindy’s true office love.

I decided to get to the bottom of it at the American Comedy Awards, where Adam Pally, who plays Peter, walked the red carpet.

“Maybe down the line,” Adam declared to me about a potential hookup between the two. “Mindy is really focused on Danny right now. But yeah, I think ΓÇô sure.”

Now that’s kahunas! Don’t expect any unexpected smooching to go on between Mindy and Peter in this season. Adam confessed to us that his alter ego “is getting a girlfriend toward the end of the season.”

That’s certain to only make Mindy more interested.
