JC Penney Launches Abbott Elementary Fashion Line—See The Collection

Ever watched Abbott Elementary and thought, “I’d wear that piece?” Well, now you can. JC Penney has partnered with the Emmy Award-winning series on a new fashion line!
The collection features apparel designed to elevate everyday fashion with one of the ultimate role models, teachers, in mind. As the show uses fashion to express the importance of teachers to their communities and their role in making every moment count for children in the face of the job’s many challenges, the collection taps into that spirit.
Abbott Elementary Teacher’s Edition, Volume 1 offers 50 pieces that are “stylish, comfortable and mix-and-matchable,” according to the retailer. The limited-time line includes colorful, patterned and neutral sweaters, jackets, dresses, knitted tops and woven shirts for both men and women. A few pieces in the collection are also inspired by the series, including a “kindness” tote bag and sweater, similar to a necklace worn by the show’s main character, Janine (Quinta Brunson). Nearly all the pieces are under $100 and more than half are under $50.
JCPenney’s Abbott Elementary Teacher’s Edition, Volume 1, is available online and in select stores nationwide. Teachers can receive an additional 10 percent off when they show their teacher ID, in-store only, until Oct. 8.
