Jonathan Silverman Is So Scoring A Guest Gig on Better With YouBy Delaina Dixon | August 24, 2010 | Entertainment
It’s nice to have connections.
Jennifer Finnigan, who stars on the ABC new series, Better With You, about a family in different stages of holy matrimony (including one who chooses to abstain from the institution), is already wrangling a guest stint for her husband of three years Jonathan Silverman, even though the show hasn’t even premiered yet!
Wouldn’t be the first time they worked together. “We did Head Case on Starz, which was improv, and the movie Beethoven’s Big Break and the series Close to Home. The only thing for him to do is to be on Better With You,” Jennifer says.
The Daytime Emmy winner even has a role in mind for her hubby. “I think he should play Josh’s hot older brother that I have a crush on,” she says, referring to her onscreen love interest Josh Cooke, though she’s fearful of one thing when she works with her real-life cuddle bunny.
“In Beethoven we had to played that we were interested in each other and romantic and I was so shy about that. I was nervous about not having chemistry. How terrifying would that be,” she confesses.
“I truly would be mortified if I watched us and didn’t see any chemistry between us on screen. I think it would make me question our relationship.”
Girl, you got no reason to worry about that!
Better With You premieres Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 8:30 on ABC.
