Here’s a little something to put some glee on your face this morning. Fox’s hot new dramedy about a high school singing club wants Justin Timberlake to guest on its canvas!
That’s what Glee series star Lea Michele would love to see happen.
“Let’s set the bar as high as we can here. I’m saying let’s bring him on,” she declared to the TV Divagal at the Gleek Tour inside the Hot Topics store at the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, N.J.
“I think he’s the perfect combination of being a fantastic performer and being funny and being a great actor.”
Lea even has a storyline in mind for the triple-threat performer.
“He should be Matt Morrison‘s doppelganger and his competition,” she suggested.
Well, Matt, who plays Will Schuester, the club’s fearless choral director, and Justin both do have that curly hair thing going on!
“Or he could be the janitor, like he was one in the back of those Saturday Night Live digital shorts,” piped up Dianna Agron, also known as Glee’s peppy cheerleader Quinn. “He was so funny, and all he was doing was mopping.”
Justin wouldn’t be alone in his guest spot. Dianna and Lea want Beyonce on their screen too!
“She should come in as Amber’s aunt from Los Angeles who gives us all a fabulous makeover,” Lea said.
I can just see Justin and resident high school hunk quarterback-turned-show choir star Cory Monteith working those “Single Ladies” leotards now!
Catch the premiere of Glee on Wednesday, Sept. 9 on Fox.
