The Ladies Who ArenΓÇÖt Afraid Of No Ghosts In The Hood (And Check Out Their Footwear!)
By Delaina Dixon | January 5, 2017 | EntertainmentThereΓÇÖs a new team joining the WE tv lineup tonight! Ghosts In The Hood shares the inexplicable stories of the O.P.O. crew, ghost hunters who arenΓÇÖt afraid to hit urban zip codes. At the GITH screening inside The McKittrick Hotel (a venue with its own spooky settings), we chatted with the showΓÇÖs female stars about their unusual jobs, and hereΓÇÖs what they had to say about their paranormal work!
Jasmine (The Medium) ΓÇ£I communicate with energy all the time. Since I was like 5 or 6 years old. I like working with O.P.O. because itΓÇÖs a labor of love versus ΓÇÿspirituality via telephone lines per minuteΓÇÖ kind of thing. Hunting in the hood is the difference of going to a party on one side of town and meeting the people there, and then going to another party on the other side. ItΓÇÖs a different kind of music, clothes and scene, but itΓÇÖs still a party. And I welcome them all. We donΓÇÖt discriminate.ΓÇ¥
Maunda (The Researcher) ΓÇ£When we go to a certain location, IΓÇÖll try to research the neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods to get a feel, if there is some kind of paranormal activity, why. I have to dig down deep and figure out what may be causing these spirits to occupy the space. I interview people in the neighborhood and try to get stories. And yes, sometimes I do go inside [the venue]. And I make sure I wear comfortable shoes so I can run!ΓÇ¥
