Lindsay Lohan ΓÇô How She Can Make A Career Breakthrough!By Delaina Dixon | August 7, 2013 | Entertainment, Relationships
Lindsay Lohan has hired a sober coach, booked gigs with Oprah and guest hosted on Chelsea Lately, and received not-so-horrible reviews for her work in the sex-tinged thriller The Canyons. So what’s the next step the actress can take to career back on track?
She needs, “a life goal, a life vision,” says David C.M. Carter, the worldΓÇÖs top mentor.┬á The DivaGals had the pleasure of sitting down with the legendary life coach at the Dream Hotel Chelsea. David has just released his first book, Breakthrough (available on Amazon.com), in the United States, which teaches people his 20 steps to achieving their best life yet.
David feels that Lindsay has never had a true mentor. “She’s never had someone there who’s had no ax to grind or no hidden agenda, someone’s who not taking a commission or percentage,” he declares. “Now it’s time for her to get someone who is genuinely interested in her life.”
David, whoΓÇÖs worked with British royalty and A-list celebrities, has spent nearly two decades perfecting his skills to help people find the best within themselves. Even though he only takes on 10 clients at a time, and explains the mentoring process can often last years, he thinks it would be a great next step for Lindsay, especially after her controversial nude sex scene in her latest film.
“A mentor would say, ‘Now wait a minute, how does this taking off your clothes for 14 minutes impact on your 10-year career plan?'”
Of course, that doesn’t mean Lindsay can’t return to the road of stardom, especially with a mentor in tow, David declares.
“It’s about building the brand of you,” David explains. “And sometimes, it takes someone who cares and loves you to help you see the best you yet.”
