We all make resolutions to kick off the New Year. After a summer surgery and returning to The Gossip Table, TV DivaGal’s workout schedule took a tumble. It’s time to get back in shape, hardcore. So I’ve committed myself to losing 10lbs in 30 days.
How do I plan to do it? With workouts, a healthy diet and a few unexpected tricks in the “lose the extra weight” game.
So let’s get started… with the workouts. I’m a pretty avid gym rat: bike, elliptical and weights, so there! But any body can get a little sluggish on the same routine repeatedly. It’s time to mix it up. And this time, I’m turning to several experts to help me redefine my physique.
For my heart-pounding cardio, I’ll be attending classes at 305 Fitness, the hottest new dance workout craze, with its Miami digits sweating it out in NYC. It’s all about keeping the heart rate up to strengthen that very important muscle, and burn calories to reshape your everything. It ain’t easy, but the pulsing music and perky teachers help keep me motivated.
I’ll be lengthening and strengthening my limbs to perfection with Body Conceptions, a full-body lengthening and sculpting method that combines the principles of dynamic movement and muscle exhaustion with body-sculpting and cardio components ΓÇô which means my core is so gonna get it!
To totally transform my muscles, I’m heading back to ToneHouse NYC. I first told you about this killa workout in November (and I’ve finally mustered up the courage to return!). This athletic-induced workout is all about pushing yourself beyond your mental limit by jumping, sprinting and pulling and pushing heavy things across the room. Lord help me — I gonna do it!
Thanks to Luxe Gal, because she’s so fabulous, I’ll be enjoying a dizzying array of cardio and conditioning classes at DavidBartonGym, the sexy chain (pictured above, yep it’s in an old church!) that makes you look better naked. And for those days I’m short on time, I’ll make around the corner to my local Planet Fitness for some good ole cardio training and weights.
