It’s Monday, time to enter Esther Yang’s Kitchen, where we can all learn how to create fast, easy, tasty healthy food with five ingredients or less.

Esther is the amazing executive director of Super Happy Healthy Kids, a non-profit that fights again child bullying and encourages youth to become the best versions of themselves through yoga, meditation and other healthy outlets. Esther, who’s currently running for New York District Leader 76, preps dishes for carnivores, herbivores and omnivores, so everyone can find something to dig into!

Esther’s Healthy, Easy And Quick Dish Of The Day

I am such a New Yorker — I like to shop the old-fashioned way: see, touch, smell and buy. I worship New York City more than ever, the city that never sleeps! Grace and I found a 24-hour butcher vending shop: They have pork, chicken, and sausages. Grace and I chose three different types of grass-fed steaks (aged, sirloin, rib eye). Chopsticks and Ninja the cats were drooling and begging. #spoiledrotten

The fruits came from Chinatown on our way to Grace’s home: Korean pear, Asian pear, fragrance pear, tiny apples and yellow dragon fruit. Korean is crunchier than Asian pear. Tiny apples are not as great as my fav Gala apples. The best discovery? Fragrance pear. Must try!
