Marry Me Lucy Liu's Style Questions Answered!
By Delaina Dixon | December 27, 2010 | Entertainment, LifestyleHey fellow style-loving TV DivaGals. It’s obvious that we all loved the majorly cute outfits Lucy Liu sported in Lifetime’s TV mini-series Marry Me; thanks for all your inquiries!
I reached out to Lucy’s wardrobe stylist, Lee Harris, to get some of your top questions answered. Happy shopping!
Lucy’s blue glasses are a fashion “Must Have”. Where I can purchase them?
This was our biggest question to date, and Jayne was right! “They are from a store in New York City called Moscot,” Lee says. A Moscot Original, they come in four colors and retail starts at $225. Don’t live in NYC? Don’t fret. You can purchase them┬á at their online store.
Oh my goodness, I loved the dress Lucy wore in the opening scene of the movie! How can I recreate that look?
That adorable brick wool crepe dress with the bow detail Lucy wore when Adam took her to dinner is by design team Acquilano e Rimondi, Lee reveals. Grab your own power look in red in this one sleeve with bow dress from edressme.com.
Can you tell me which dress Lucy wears in the movie is by Victoria Beckham? I’m dying to know!
Lucy did mention to TV DivaGal that she rocks some Posh Spice style in the film, and we were curious too. “It’s the green wool dress Rae wears on her first date at Luke’s house,” Lee says of the piece from Victoria Bechkam’s Fall 2010 collection, which has a black grosgrain waistband. Kelly Ripa and Heidi Klum have both worn the dress as well.
Just in case I plan my very own European getaway (hopefully with a handsome billionaire), who designed the red gown she wore in London?
That gorgeous Cinderella-esque red chiffon dress Lucy wore down the staircase is by J Mendel. If you’ve got a few thousand to blow, you can get J Mendel’s mini-version of the dress here.

I was interested in the silver sandals Lucy rocked with her VB green dress. Also, the entire outfit she wore when peeking in Luke's house when he was away was fab! Could you tell us the designers responsible for these looks? Thanks so much!
