THE MAIN EVENT. Meet The Hot New Actor in Hotel Blue – Wayne Tucker!

It’s #MainEventMonday! When we got an invite to screen the short film Hotel Bleu, we had no idea what was in store. What we discovered was a beautifully shot piece featuring a surprise connection in one of our fave backdrops, New York City!

One of the film’s stars is Wayne Tucker who plays Jay, a musician who encounters the film’s lead Jackie (played by Julie Halston). This is Wayne’s first acting gig, and he shares how he prepared himself.

“I just tried being myself,” he shared. “I didn’t have anything to compare it too. I didn’t have any classes or anything. It was just instinctual.”

The music he plays in the film is real because Wayne’s a real-life musician! “The music that I normally play depends on the night,” he declared “Tonight I’m playing in a hip-hop band, and tomorrow Latin Jazz.”
