Aube Linda Jolicoeur,  one of our favorite models, is having a baby! I had the opportunity to meet Aube a few years ago when I cast her in a small role on a pilot project. Since then this Haitian sensation has been turning heads and booking jobs with Marc Jacobs and runway shows for Oscar de la Renta, Bottega Venetta, Jeremy Scott and Yeezy.  She’s also been photographed by Iconic Vogue photographer Steve Meisel.

We were over the moon with joy when we discovered our girl was about to become a mom! Aube is definitely going to be a fun mom and if her boy is anything like his mommy, he is going to enter the world with a dance, a smile and a full head of hair! These are a few items on our must-have and must-give list for this lovely mom-to-be and her partner Mike.

META Backpack. This $149.00  beauty is designed to problem-solve! Look at all those pockets! There is a pocket and slot or zip for everything, including diapers, toys, snacks, a change of clothes and your laptop. Happy baby = happy parent. We love that it’s not bulky but sleek and comfortable for long outings or commutes, and coordinates with its mix-and-match Inter-Mix system for maximum versatility.

GHURKA Tote/Backpack for Dad.A favorite for adventurers so it’s perfect for the adventure of becoming a parent. “Bringing a strong worldliness and refined taste to this youthful silhouette”. Pack it full of what your baby will need for a day trip with room for a few snacks for dad too! Retails for $895.

Belly Ball a.k.a. Angel Caller. This meaningful piece of jewelry is a great “bonding gift for mother and baby ($79.00).” The Angel Caller, also called “Bola” or “Harmony Ball,” is ancestral jewelry that can be found in many cultures across the world. Did you know that at 26 weeks of pregnancy your baby can hear sounds? “In the Mayan tradition, the Angel Caller was worn by the mothers to protect them during pregnancy and to calm the newborn baby with its familiar soothing chime sound.”

Biggs & Featherbelle Belly Balm. This $19 find is made with rich Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Butter, Olive Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Avocado Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil and Essential Oil Blend (Tangerine & Lavender). Aube says, “It smells amazing”! We hear that it successfully diminishes stretch marks and in some cases eliminates them. Make sure to pair it with the Momma Bar.

Aube’s little boy’s locks will need gentle treatment so we were sure to gift with
Johnson’s
new hair care products for kids that are “uniquely effective and also highly cleansing” Retails for $4.99. Fun fact: Hair conditioners can be a little too heavy for children’s hair.

Keep baby’s skin soft and moisturized with organic plant-based products by Hello Bello. I love their lavender-scented laundry detergent. Prices range from $6.98.

Natural Lactation Support ($50). It’s national breastfeeding month. Nursing mom’s need to keep up their nutritional levels. LegenDairy Milk has a cool blend of the best organic and vegetarian supplements. Ingredients include cumin, fennel, and superfood “Moringa”.
