The TV Upfronts have come to a close!
TV DivaGal got a sneak peek of the networks’ new fall lineups and thinks these are the shows you should have preset in your DVR!
Lonestar (Mondays 9 p.m., Fox) Who doesn’t love a good┬á soap opera? Robert Allen is living two lives as a brilliant con man who finally realizes that he actually only wants one identity, his own.Can he work it all out without getting caught? We’ve got years to find that out!
Hawaii Five-O (Mondays, 10 p.m, CBS) Two words: Alex O’Loughlin! He’s back, lean, mean and he’s got a gun (yep, I know it’s not fangs, but it’s still kind of sexy!). This reinvention of the seventies hit has Alex and his less-than-enthused partners cleaning up the bad guys in middle of paradise.
UnderCovers (Wednesdays, 8 p.m., NBC). Hottie Boris Kodjoe and his onscreen wife Gugu Mbatha-Raw are brought back into the spy game, which spices up their marriage, and their bedroom attire. She slips back into sexy teddies, and he slips back into nothing at all. That’s enough reason for me to watch!
Hellcats (Wedensdays, 9 p.m., The CW). Take the plot of Bring It On of the girl who hates cheerleaders/is forced on the team/realizes that having spirit and teamwork actually means something and you’ve got this new CW series set at a university in Memphis. Bonus points for having One Tree Hill alum Matt Barr as a series regular.
My Generation (Thursdays, 8 p.m., ABC) Ten years ago, a documentary crew followed high school students to see what their hopes and dreams were for the future. Now we get to see what became of them in this this new dramedy. Who doesn’t love returning to the Wonder Years to see who totally blew it after graduation?
