Nick Lachey: Next Career Move!

alo-0674071Sure, Nick Lachey has made a name for himself singing first with 98 Degrees and then going solo, acting on TV shows and hosting specials across the board.

But now he’s finally admitting what he really dreams of doing!

“One day I’d like to host a sports talk radio show,” he confesses.

“Aside from music, sports is my other passion. I could talk about that for hours on end. To be paid to do that would be a dream come true.”

You heard Nick, ESPN radio. Hook this boy up!

Until Nick’s dream becomes a reality, you can check him on The Sing-Off, premiering Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. on NBC. On the four night special, 18 bands will compete to be the best as they perform without musical accompaniment.

“No one has really explored this forum, and it’s a passion for me. Our band 98 Degrees took a lot of pride in being able to sing a cappella and sing live,” Nick says.

The singer hopes he can pass on his knowledge to the groups fearlessly taking the stage for the competition.

“It’s so intriguing to sing without a band behind you, there’s no where hide,” Nick explains.

“I want to be a support system to these groups, because it’s a task to take on to sing live.”

Sounds like we’ve got to add one more job description to Nick’s list: Caring Mentor!
