NYC Young Social Set Honors: Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research

Under the warm glow of chandeliers and candlelight, New York’s philanthropy, fashion, and social communities gathered at Crane Club for the 2026 Young Angels Gala benefiting Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. The evening felt equal parts elegant celebration and meaningful call to action—bringing together a new generation of supporters committed to advancing cancer research.
Hosted by Bianca Peters of Fox 5 New York, the gala honored Elaine Chamberlain, founder and CEO of LÁYN Foundation and the Stay in Your LÁYN Foundation. Known for her work centered on empowerment and community, Chamberlain was celebrated for her continued commitment to philanthropy and service.
The evening’s whimsical black-tie dress code set the tone for a night that blended glamour with purpose. Guests moved through the beautifully designed space, enjoying cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, and music from DJs David Katz, Neil Jackson, Tokyo Rose, and Jordan Emanuel. Throughout the evening, the energy felt distinctly New York, stylish, social, and deeply connected to community impact.
Founded by Ayaan Ahmed and supported by a large committee of young professionals and creatives, the gala continues the mission of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation to engage younger philanthropists in the fight against leukemia, lymphoma, and related blood cancers. The foundation is widely recognized for funding promising early-career scientists focused on developing less toxic cancer treatments.
Notable attendees included Denise Rich, Melissa Gorga, Joe Gorga, Harvey Spevak, Mike Muse, Sabina Plestinova, and Noah Neiman.
