The DivaGals loved checking out new menswear lines from Giovanni Cattleya and D’Marsh (and we swear it had nothing to do with the models!).
At the Giovanni Cattleya FW 2015, we learned how men’s clothing can carry through four seasons. Giovanni Catleya’s Fall/Winter collection offers versatile pieces that can take a worldly traveler through any climate, and always with a touch of opulence and luxury. Intricate embellishments like pocket chains and cashmere scarfs adorn double-breasted suits, vests and pants in bright colors and patterns. Giovanni’s leather jacket, made of “ethical elephant skin” meaning that the elephant was from a section of South Africa that has too many, so they thin the herd, elicited polarizing reactions from fashionistas, though all agreed it was striking.
At house of D’Marsh, creative director Glenroy March turned to his past to create this year’s collection. “It’s the DNA of my last 13 seasons, that’s why I’m calling it my signature collection” Glenroy shared. “You see my signature embellishments, the lace and leather, and of course our signature colors in black, white and red. We’ve got pieces that are over the top and more simple ones like the sweaters.” We DivaGals loved the style … and the men in them!
