NYFW FALL ‘ 15 NOLCHA Collective Runway ShowBy Tsadiqwah Scarville | February 20, 2015 | Beauty, Food Fashion Style
Six years in the making and Nolcha Fashion Week is becoming one of the most sought-out runway events for skilled couturiers to strut their work during New York Fashion Week!
Delivering, per usual, distinctive styles and remakes, designers like Prieston, Ann Himsel, and Danny Nguyen rolled out their 2015 fall collection, Sunday night in the Collection Runway Show at Pier 59 Studios in Chelsea!
Prieston by Hungarian fashioner Noemi Nagy, launched the eveningΓÇÖs final showcase with jeweled embroidery and luxuriant feathered pieces. Midnight blues and blacks offset clean white pallets accentuating spirited blue jays.
This was a first-time showing for NYC based designer Ann Himsel who revealed her girls-only, menswear inspired line, pictured up top. The collection included menΓÇÖs boots from CAT Footwear while emphasizing on posh wool and leather for a robust silhouette.
My favorite looks of the night came from DNC (Danny Nguyen Couture) and it was about the details! Imperial fabrics refashioned with floral imagery and flowing capes represented a newer haute Asian vogue. The evening gowns were simply exquisite. See some of the looks below!
