NYFW FALL ’15 Venexiana’s Fairy Tale Evening Wear

From the socialite duchess dresses of the Upper East Side to the royal gowns at an enchanting ball, we all have a princess inside of us. The newest looks from Venexiana spread the extravagant luxurious side of women’s gowns in a mixture of brilliant color palettes, reinventing the meaning of traditional elegance with a little bit of edge.

This season’s collection, presented against a soft gray backdrop among an assortment of bright shimmery color palettes, offered exquisite fabrics, focused tailoring and witty embellishments throughout the entire runway show inside of Lincoln Center Saturday evening. The line took diva glam to the next level. There was a flawless lineup of Grecian goddesses and Paris haute rock-n-roll couture gowns embracing the runway.

Designer Kati Stern always keeps it stimulating and fashionably forward in all genres of life and style. Even the music was perfection. The show opened with romantic, classical Italian dreamy music to set the tone, then switched off to an electric, pop and rock-n-roll feel. I couldnΓÇÖt help jamming to it.

Venexiana presented over 50 fabulous looks and each look was different, innovative, interesting and unique in its own way. Favorite looks included solid-colored jersey gowns and halters and strapless sexy silhouettes with gleaming accents of multi-colored sequins, Preciosa crystals and hand-made techniques in a gorgeous and luxurious display of silk, chiffon and taffeta textiles.

There was never a dull moment, especially sitting in the front row, which gave me a chance to seek out the sashed celebrities who graced the runway with their presence as well: Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.
