OSCARS 2013: Independent Spirit and Post-Party Dramah!

Before the live broadcast of the 85th  Academy Awards, many stars spent the penultimate evening at the The Official Presenter Gift Lounge backstage at The 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards!
Oscar nominee Quvenzhan├⌐ Wallis spent some time at the Mattel Games Gift Lounge ΓÇô thoroughly appropriate for the nine year old, the youngest ever in Oscar’s best actress category for her moving performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild.
Hansel And Gretel‘s Jeremy Renner also stopped by the Mattel Games Gift Lounge to help raise money for charity.┬á We’re sure the cutie daddy-to-be, who scooped up one-year membership to Crunch and a private island getaway from Caribbean Living Magazine, is getting shape, mind and body,┬á for his baby arrival.┬á How did Jeremy celebrate his impending joy-to-be? By scooping up a big spoonful of Yoplait Greek 100! So that’s how he stays in killer shape!
Django Unchained actress Kerry Washington hit the lounge with her mom, who she unabashedly admits she shares clothes with. So it was befitting that she picked up Fashion Forms, a backless dress must-have. Sure it will come in handy the next time the starlet finds herself in some kind of Scandal!

Nothing like a party after the Oscars broadcast. Of course, the night can get a little out of line, as the DivaGals learned exclusively from country singer Susan Toney, who attended Oscars Night Out at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood. Here’s her exclusive DivaGals recount:
“Well, after a night where the drunk guy in my cabana fell on both my manager and I twice, and after another drunk guy who kept forgetting he had already hit me on me several times and spilled everything on the table, splashing all over my beautiful Tadashi gown, my fun run-ins and quippy observation of Oscar night would simply be, WOW! Is this what ‘The greatest night in Hollywood’ has come to be? Just an observation, but what happened to the class, sophistication and prestige that made this celebration of impeccable talent and creative genius such a coveted atmosphere to be a part of? Oh well, maybe next year!”
Hmmm, we’d still be deliriously happy if we slipped into a Tadashi Shoji — who dresses Oscar winner Octavia Spencer on the regular — even if it got spilled on!
