RESET YOUR LIFE 2020! Get Your Skin In Check At Spa Lé La!By Delaina Dixon | January 28, 2020 | Beauty, Travel
It’s a new decade, and there’s nothing the DivaGals want more than flawlessly glowing skin!
Our fearless EIC leader decided she’d control of hers while spending time in Los Angeles, with a visit to Spa Lé La and experiencing one of its signature facials. And life will never quite be the same!
This spa of a find in Studio City offers facials and massages, along with retreat services that would make any wear Diva smile. And then there are the retreat services… How about hopping into a luxurious soaking tub and surrounding yourself with candles — a treat for TV DivaGal since I don’t have a tub in my studio. Or melt into a state-of-the-art, zero gravity, three-dimensional massage throne. Or how about just falling out in Spa Lé La’s nap room?
Any of these services would be a treat, especially for busy moms who need a little “me time.” But what do with those little ones? Don’t fret: Spa Lé La offers complimentary child care services on-site for children six months to 9 years old. So yes Mommy Diva, get your “ahhh” on. But let’s get on to that facial…
After settling into a treatment room and slipping into a terry wrap, I laid down on a heated bed that warmed my jetlagged body. I was about to get the “Traveler’s Facial,” which infuses much-needed hydration into weary skin. Several cleansers were blended together to remove grime before my face was exfoliated with a brightening enzyme.
Then it was time for extractions — yes, you feel a few pinpoints, but once removed it leaves your skin looking so much clearer. My skin was then bathed in essential oils, melted in with a Korean heat wand, followed by a cold wand that helps reduce puffiness. Finally, an application of hydrating serums infused with oxygen and soothing massage of my jawline left me with incredible results… see for yourself (no makeup or filters!).
Trina Renea is the brains behind the Spa Le La, which also offers great products like its signature skincare lines and candles.
