TV DivaGal loves the moment where one celeb is in awe of another!
That’s what happened last night for Project Runway‘s Epperson, who had scored a tix to Sherri Shepherd‘s premiere party for her new Lifetime series, Sherri, at NYC’s Hotel Empire last night.
Taking a page from The View co-host’s real life, Sherri chronicles her single gal adventures after learning her ex-husband was cheating on her with another woman.
Camera in hand, Epperson was hovering near Sherri when the TV DivaGal approached.
“Do you want to take a picture,” I asked.
Epperson enthusiastically responded yes, explaining he’s a big fan.
It took a while, but after some persistence, TV DivaGal set up the perfect shot.

Epperson wasn’t the only person ready to give Sherri her accolades. Other guests included actress Paula Patton (who’s married to Robin Thicke, lucky girl!), Rev. Al Sharpton,

the legendary Lynn Whitfield and the night’s emcee, Barbara Walters.
“I want to thank my mentor, my mother Barbara Walters,” Sherri gushed before the crowd.
“Beside giving me a lot of advice about sex, she told me to really capitalize on what I was doing in daytime, so I got to work on it.”
It’s true, Babara Walters really can make anything a talking point!
Sherri premieres all this week at 7 p.m., on Lifetime. And look for it on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. beginning Oct. 13.
