Show You Gotta Watch Tonight: Huge!

120464_188 TV DivaGal has a new obsession: the new teen drama, Huge!

The ABC Family series follows seven overweight teens as they try to shed pounds, inhibitions and feelings of self doubt at a summer weight loss camp.

There’s Goth girl Will (played by Hairspray‘s Nikki Blonsky), who isn’t about to get with the “get fit” program her parents have forced her to attend.

Also at the camp is Amber (Hayley Hasselhoff), a perky blonde who’s probably heard “You have such a pretty face…” more times than she’d like to remember. But her shape (which is just fine, thank you very much!), seems to be working for camp fitness instructor George (Zander Eckhouse).

Like every teen drama, there’s unrequited love and parenting issues. But the series brings on a whole another level as these teens weigh the usually pubescent angst along with the trials they go through daily not being a size 2 or having a 30-inch waist.

If you’ve got to chew on one show this summer, make it Huge.

Huge premieres Monday, June 28 at 9 p.m. on ABC Family.
