Technical glitches weren’t going to stop Tuner Broadcasting from keeping us from what we really wanted: a teasing shot of Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s rear end. But more on that soon.
So what shows from the networks should be added to your DVR this season? Here’s TV DivaGals picks:
Franklin & Bash (TNT)
Quick Cap: Two unconventional lawyers who don’t follow the rules, even though they’re working for a conservative firm.
Why to Watch: Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar have great chemistry on screen together, kind of like bad boys doing good for their clients. And like I promised, there just may be a shot or two of Mark’s bare bottom in an upcoming episode. That’s enough reason to watch. Premieres June 1 at 9 p.m.
The Wedding Band (TNT)
Quick Cap: Four guys with very different personalities join together to play in a wedding band.
Why to Watch: It’s always great to have one cute guy leading a new comedy series, but how about four? Brian Austin Green, Harold Perrineau, Peter Cambor and Derek Miller are sure to get into crazy mishaps that involve bridesmaids and booze, which we know from personal experience can lead to some pretty hilarious situations. Plus, this show promises to have a Glee feel with musical numbers at the receptions. Look for it Summer 2012.
Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse (TBS)
Quick Cap: Straight off the Why Did I Get Married franchise, Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith are once again television anchor Marcus and salon owner Angela whose marriage thrives on the volume of their spats.
Why To Watch: Expect lots of bickering, making up and bickering again, mixed in with some insightful thoughts on whether that band of gold is worth the hassle (we’re pretty sure it is) delivered only as Tyler Perry can. Look for it later this summer.
