So You Think You Can Dance: Who's Back For Season Six?By Delaina Dixon | September 9, 2009 | Entertainment
FYI, there’s going to be a lot of faces you know on your screen tonight!
SYTYCD executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe has already confirmed that Ryan Kasprzak, season five finalist Evan‘s big bro and mentor, made it to Vegas week. No doubt we’ll be seeing him again.
One of my faves from season five, popper Phillip Chbeeb, revealed to the TV DivaGal that his girlfriend, Arielle, who he partnered with during her audition last season, has also returned for a chance to shine in season six.
But what we really want to know is if Natalie Reid, the roomy of season four finalist Katee Shean, came back for yet another try. Natalie came so close to making Top 20 in season five, even I could almost taste it for her!
“There are quite a few people whom you will have seen beforeΓǪpeople like Natalie,” SYTYCD host Cat Deeley confirms to the TV DivaGal.
“There are also the kind of people that were too young before that tried out that we said, ‘Please come back’ to and now theyΓÇÖre at the right age.
So what keeps bringing on the repeat audition?
“With dancing, if you go away and youΓÇÖve really practiced at what was your area of weakness that made you fall down before, you can improve, and so therefore you can make it on to the show,” Cat theorizes.
“So there are going to be lots of familiar faces; people that you really care about and you want to do well.”
That prolly means we’ll be seeing yet another round of SYTYCD repeat offender David “Sex” Soller!
So You Think You Can Dance, season six premiere, airs Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
