Social Gal Soo Jin Kim and Image Gal Samantha von Sperling meet an Olympic Medalist with great lips!
Social Gal was at the edge of my seat during THAT game, when USA soccer team played that silver medal game match against Canada during the 2012 Olympic games that sent them to the final game against Japan, which they won. It was Alex Morgan‘s assist kick that gave the women’s team that final goal and win.

Well, Alex is now the face of Chapstick, and as a true Olympian, she graced us with her appearance at Chelsea Piers as she talked about her latest accomplishments, including her new children’s book Saving the Team: The Kicks, in appreciation to all her young female fans. That’s what Social Gal calls a “goaling diva!”

Alex is telling girls to believe in their abilities. Image Gal asked her what her “Achille’s Heel” is. Her answer? “My competitiveness is my double-edged sword.” She always working hard to work to push it in the right direction on the field.
Something really interesting Social Gal learned: salty foods such as potato chips, Wasabi peas and even salsa are bad for your lips, according to Dermatologist Dr. Melanie Grossman. In order to combat potential chapped lips and as a safe precautionary tale, always put on some Chapstick.

Adds Image Gal, “When working as a makeup artist always applies
A lip balm to create a smooth surface before applying lipstick.” Done and score!
