STYLE DIVAS: Designer Style at Department Prices – Duro Olowu for JCP and Derek Lam for Kohl’s!By Delaina Dixon | February 28, 2013 | Beauty, Entertainment, Food Fashion Style
Having style is priceless, but putting together a killer wardrobe can still drain your wallet. That’s why we’re loving two new lines at your local department stores: JCPenney and Kohl’s!
JCP, which has been rebranding itself as shops within shops, is offering several new lines, including one with Nigerian-born, London-based designer Duro Olowu. Known for his mastery with color and prints, the more than 70-piece collection includes dresses, separates, accessories and home goods, beginning March 1! We’re salivating over the flowy checked print pictured above that will be perfect for a jaunt down Fifth Avenue, with change in our pockets to spare! Here are a few more pieces from The Duro Olowu collection that we love!
Kohl’s has partnered with Derek Lam for DesigNation. The limited edition line offers bold prints in muted tones that make you think of a Rio de Janeiro getaway. With the most expensive piece retailing at $88, you’ll actually be able to afford a ticket! Our must-have choice? A laid-back maxi dress (pictured above), that will emphasize our curves up top and play down the ones below. The collection is available in stores and online beginning April 5. Check out some of our favorite pieces below. Want to see it all? See the full collection here!
